Fuel sites
Libya gas station explosion proof surveillance system
Forecourt, shop, tank area, and an Arabic desk for coastal or inland fuel sites.

Where this design is used
A Libya gas station explosion proof surveillance system has to see the forecourt, the shop, the tank area, and the office as one solution for the station. Coastal sites add salt fog. Inland sites add heat and dust.
The useful design is a small system: original-factory devices where the tank area is classified, ordinary industrial devices only outside classified zones, a compact recorder or VMS, and an Arabic view for the station supervisor.
System architecture
System components

Explosion-proof cameras
Used at the tank and dispenser area when the classification requires them. Hardware supplier: Rongfang or Wardmay, original model and original certificate.

Station network
A small switch, protected cabling under the canopy, and a path back to the shop that survives heat and, on the coast, salt.

VMS
A supervisor desk that can replay the forecourt and the shop without a full refinery control room.

After-hours analytics
Intrusion rules for the yard when the station is closed. We tune them during commissioning. We do not publish a fake detection rate.
Localization and support
Station staff get an Arabic operating sheet: how to call up a pump, how to export a clip, and who to message on WhatsApp if a camera goes offline.
Technical highlights
Salt fog
Coastal Libya sites need the manufacturer’s corrosion-resistant housing, not a painted indoor camera. The housing model stays the factory’s.
Public access
The forecourt is a public space. Camera views are planned so the operator can see an incident without filming more than the operation needs.
Small footprint
The rack fits the shop office. We do not specify a refinery video wall for a single station unless the owner runs many sites from one desk.
Around the station

Forecourt
The canopy view covers the dispensers and the office sees that same solution.

Tank area
A certified original-factory housing is used only where the classification requires it.

Supervisor desk
A shop-office screen, not a refinery video wall, is enough for one station.

After hours
When the station is closed, the yard view is what the alarm is for.
Questions from project engineers
Is every camera on a fuel station explosion-proof?
No. Only the points inside the classified area need an original certified model. Other points use equipment appropriate to that location.
Can a local contractor install it?
Yes. We can design and commission with a local MEP or security contractor, and leave Arabic handover notes.
