Analytics
AI video analytics for oilfield perimeter North Africa
Intrusion, smoke, and fire analytics on oilfield perimeters in North Africa.

Where this design is used
AI video analytics for oilfield perimeter North Africa is useful when a fence is long and the night crew cannot watch every camera. The analytics watch tripwires, loitering, smoke, and flame, then raise an alarm the operator can read in Arabic.
We connect the analytics module to the VMS so the operator gets intrusion, smoke, and fire alarms in Arabic. Rules are tuned on that site during commissioning.
System architecture
System components

Cameras as sensors
Original factory models from Rongfang or Wardmay where the area classification requires them. Analytics reads the stream. The certificate stays with the factory.

Analytics module
Intrusion, smoke, and fire rules placed on the views that matter. Rules are tuned in commissioning, including the hours the site is quiet.

Alarm path
Events appear on the control-room queue in Arabic, with the camera name and the time.

Network
The server sits where the streams already arrive. We do not add a second unmanaged network for analytics.
Localization and support
Operators learn which alarms they must acknowledge and which are informational. The short guide is in Arabic. We adjust rules remotely after the first real nights.
Technical highlights
Perimeter first
The first rules are the fence and the gates. Process areas are added only when the view and the safety case allow it.
No invented accuracy
Detection depends on view, light, dust, and tuning. We state that in the proposal instead of a marketing percentage.
Factory devices
The cameras stay the original manufacturer’s model, with that factory’s certificate, inside the analytics solution.
What the analytics watch

Fence line
The first rules are the fence and the gates.

Smoke and flame
Smoke and fire rules are added only on views the project asks for.

Analytics rack
The server sits where the streams already arrive.

Gate
A gate view is a defined zone, not a promise of a detection percentage.
Questions from project engineers
Which events can the analytics raise?
The standard set we integrate is intrusion on a defined line or zone, smoke, and fire. Other rules are discussed per site.
Will this work in a dust storm?
Heavy dust and glare reduce every camera analytic. We plan views and we revisit rules after commissioning. We do not promise detection through a brown-out.
