Control room
Arabic localized security control room system for operators
Video wall, alarm queue, and an Arabic operator workflow for oil and gas sites.

Where this design is used
An Arabic localized security control room system is the place a shift supervisor actually works. The wall, the VMS, the alarm list, and the radio or phone have to agree. A pile of camera logins in English does not.
We lay out the desk for the number of operators, the sites they watch, and the language of the crew, so the shift can run the whole solution from one room.
System architecture
System components

Video wall and desk
Screens, seating, and lighting planned for a long shift. The wall shows the sites and the alarms the operator works from.

VMS
Live view, playback, user rights, and export. We set the Arabic interface where the chosen platform provides it, and we document the rest in Arabic.

Alarm workflow
Intrusion, smoke, and fire events land in one queue with a named response, not as pop-ups nobody owns.

Field devices
Streams come from the original-factory cameras selected for the scenario. In the VMS they keep the factory model or the owner’s asset tag.
Localization and support
Training is delivered in Arabic on the real desk: log in, acknowledge an alarm, export a clip, and call the site. Remote support continues after the first week.
Technical highlights
One queue
Operators should not hunt across five browser tabs. Events from analytics and from the VMS share a list.
Rights
A station supervisor and a central operator do not need the same export rights. We set that before handover.
Retention
Disk is sized from the owner’s retention request and the real stream count, not from a generic package.
Inside the room

Video wall
The wall shows the sites and the alarms the operator works from.

Operator desk
The desk is laid out for the number of people on the shift.

Recording
Disk is sized from the stream count and the retention the owner asks for.

The shift
Training happens on this desk, in Arabic when the crew works in Arabic.
Questions from project engineers
What do you deliver for the control room?
We design the room, install the VMS workflow, and train the crew so the shift can run the site from one desk.
Can two countries share one room?
The architecture can concentrate several sites. Bandwidth and operator load are checked before we promise that.
