Oilfield perimeter reference with AI intrusion alarms
North Africa oilfield · a delivery pattern for this scenario
Long perimeter, fiber back to a control room, and Arabic intrusion alarms.

Challenge
The perimeter is long, the process area may be classified, and the control room is the only place that can watch both. Heat and distance punish poorly housed switches.
The crew needs an Arabic alarm they can act on from the control-room queue.
Solution architecture
Perimeter views feed an analytics module for intrusion. Process-edge cameras, where the area classification requires it, are original factory explosion-proof models. Fiber carries the streams to the control room. The operator queue is in Arabic.

On this pattern

Fence line
The perimeter is long enough that the control room is the only place that can watch it.

Process edge
Process-edge cameras are original factory models only where the classification requires them.

Fiber cabinet
Switches sit in cabinets planned for the heat, not in an office box in the sun.

Arabic queue
The operator queue is in Arabic. We do not attach a percentage to this pattern.
Outcome and benefit
The night operator can see which fence segment alarmed and can open that view without guessing the camera name. Commissioning includes a pass on false alarms. We do not attach a percentage reduction to this pattern.
